Founded in 1993, leading travel agency, HRG Czech Republic (Hogg Robinson s.r.o.), has steadily built an excellent reputation as one of the most established providers of corporate travel. Part of international corporate services business Hogg Robinson Group (HRG), the company has branches in more than 120 countries all over the world, directly owned or within partner bureaux.

We offer a variety of tools to help businesses best manage their travel. Our “Business Trip Management” programme enables you to watch, optimise and control your travel expenses throughout the whole process from booking tickets, accommodation or car rentals through to managing the more bureaucratic end of things, such as visas. And we also offer an entire function dedicated to “Meetings, Groups & Events” to help you organise and manage incentive trips, conferences, congresses, events, business meetings and social corporate events. Shortly we’ll also be adding sports and fun corporate events, both domestic and international, to our already extensive service.

Managing Director for the Czech Republic and Slovakia

Pavel comes from Trebic and joined HRG in 2004. He started as a Business Travel Manager, moved into Sales before becoming the General Manager for the Czech Republic and Slovakia. His responsibilities include overseeing the sales, marketing and travel decisions of the firm. He also he coordinates the senior management team.

Boris comes from Liberec and joined HRG in 2000 as a Finance Director for the Czech Republic and Slovakia. He manages our economic and financial stability, ensuring our ongoing profitable growth. He also oversees our risk management function.

Pavel Karbulka

Head of Operations

Pavel comes from a little town close to Prague and joined the HRG group in 2010. As a Head of Operations he is responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of the Business Travel department, including our reservation systems and the integration of new clients and technologies. He has his finger on the pulse, keeping in regular contact with our suppliers – airlines, hotels and car hire companies. Results-focused, Pavel delivers targeted plans in response to an ever changing market and is continually on the lookout for ways we can do things better, ensuring that we are the best and the fastest at what we do.

Helena Jemelková

Head of Sales Meetings, Groups & Events

Helena comes from Prague and joined the company in 2012 as Director of our Incentives Department. In addition to the day-to-day running of her team, Helena finds time to handle business development for her department, supervises the management of a wide range of events and manages the negotiation of business terms with our suppliers.

Chief Accountant

Ivana comes from Prague and joined the company in 2000 as a Chief Accountant. She is responsible for the financial and payroll accounting whilst overseeing her department. She communicates with other offices and authorities, oversees final accounts and financial statements and prepares all accounts audit materials.

Nikola Bachtíková

Sales & Account Manager

Nikola comes from Česká Lípa town. She has joined HRG team in 2018 as a Sales & Account Manager. She is responsible for an acquisition of new clients, effective presentation of our services, and answering questions of our potential clients. Her main objective is a successfully completed sale, consequent customer care, and a long term cooperation development.

Martina Ottová

Sales & Account Manager

Martina comes from a little town in the Krkonoše Mountains. She joined HRG in 2008 as a Travel Consultant serving VIP clients. Towards the end of her maternal leave she moved to a part time position of marketing specialist and since September 2018 she has been fully engaged in sales and marketing department. At this moment she cares for our current clients and also works on acquisition of new ones. She continues to prepare electronic newsletters and maintains HRG web page. She also supports marketing events for clients and she is responsible for office management.

We are looking for an eligible candidate for the TRAVEL CONSULTANT – HRG Czech Republic post

Scope of employment:

  • Communication with clients personally as well as over a phone and via email
  • Booking and issuing tickets and other services offered by the company
  • Calculations, sales of additional services (insurance, cars, accommodation, conference services)
  • Services invoicing

We expect:

  • Good knowledge of GDS Amadeus essential
  • Minimum of Secondary Grammar School education or equivalently High School with A-levels
  • Good knowledge of English (daily-basis and personal use)
  • Independence, responsibility, flexibility, and good organized character
  • Positive, communicative and active approach, good stress-coping
  • Desire to learn
  • Ability to communicate with all kinds of clients, business mind
